About this Study
The NAHMS Chronic Wasting Disease 2005 study is aimed at gathering information about potential risk factors that contribute to the transmission. The resulting data may help in developing strategies that will lead to the elimination ofo CWD in farmed and captive cervids. This is the first study to collect epidemiologic data on the Nation's cervid industry. Reports will be posted to this website as they are completed.
